CIWC Open Positions
CIWC Trip Leader
Responsibilities:
- Outline trip, write trip description, and submit trip proposal for approval
- Gather cost estimates and other details from vendors
- Communicate with trip attendees
- Manage allocated trip budget
- Lead group during trip with an eye on attendee safety
Requirements:
- Must be a current club member in good standing
- Certified in Wilderness First Aid (or higher) training
- Attend annual CIWC trip leader orientation training

CIWC Social Co-Chair (Appointed)
Responsibilities:
- Organize social activities/events such as the club picnic, holiday party, and public meetings
- Plan and coordinate refreshments and on-site seating and table arrangements
- Greet event attendees, recruit new members, and encourage existing members to organize events
Requirements:
- Must be a current club member in good standing
Interested in becoming our Social Chair?
Appointed roles: Selected by the current board members
Elected roles: Voted in by CIWC membership at end of the year
Member in good standing: Current on all dues/payments and adheres to the CIWC code of conduct
