CIWC Trip Leader Training

The Central Indiana Wilderness Club will present a Trip Leader Training Workshop on October 28, 2026, at Holliday Park. This workshop is for all club members and any leader looking for a refresher.
Topics will include Trip Planning, Trip Cost Estimating & Trip Reporting, Safety and Risk Management, Meal Planning and available Club Equipment. At the end there will be time for questions.
The Central Indiana Wilderness Club is a non-profit volunteer-based club designed to provide affordable recreational adventures for experienced and new outdoor enthusiasts. We are committed to teaching and learning the essential skills needed to be confident in and enjoy wilderness and outdoor adventures. We will take you off the beaten path – to the park, to the river and to the wilderness – and help you find your dreams.
Presenters will be experienced leaders who are also Board Members.
Please RSVP (register) so that we can anticipate turnout and plan for food. A light supper is available at 5:30. We will start promptly at 6:00.
