CIWC Club Meeting Paddling in Indiana
There is no better way to cool off on a hot and muggy Indiana day than to jump in a canoe and enjoy some nature along the way. If you want to learn more about canoeing in Indiana, you won’t want to miss the June 10th CIWC meeting. Our presentation will be “Paddling in Indiana”. We will cover the good locations to paddle in Indiana, the names of reputable outfitters, common rivers to paddle, basic gear needed and important safety issues. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned paddler, we hope you will leave with some good information and some motivation to hit the water this summer! As a follow-up to this meeting, we have a canoe day trip planned for Sunday, June 14th at White River Canoe Outfitters in Noblesville IN. (You can register on the CIWC website under “events, day trips”. It will be a great time to try out your skills and make some new paddle loving friends. Meeting is open to both club and non-club members. So bring along a friend who might turn into a paddle buddy.
