Volunteer Opportunity
Indianapolis Boat, Sport, & Travel Show
Indiana State Fairgrounds
1202 E 38th St, Indianapolis, IN
February 14-23, 2020
For the 14th year CIWC will have a presence at the Ford, Indianapolis Boat, Sport and Travel Show. We will have a spot in the “Club’s Area” in the Champions Pavilion. We will be sharing the booth spaces C234 – C237 with other not for profit groups. Volunteers who work at our booth and help promote the club will be given FREE admittance to the show and access to a free parking pass. All you have to do is to hang out and talk to show visitors about CIWC and also then encourage them to come to our annual backpacking class on March 7th at Holiday Park. There they can learn what we do and get involved in beginner trips. We will have literature and club information. This show is one of our key marketing activities during the winter season. Volunteer times for the weekend dates of the show are shown in the registration levels. By registering for the shift of your choice (maximum of 2 people per shift) you will have free admittance and be able to tour the various sections of the show when not helping at the booth. Plan to come for the entire day if you have time.
Please register for the shift(s) of your choice and you’ll receive a confirmation.
If you would rather volunteer for an off shift (during the week, Monday through Thursday, Feb 17-20), please contact Bob Hart at the email address below.
