Katy Trail West to East
The Katy Trail across Missouri is one of the most popular and attractive rail trails in the country. We will be riding from the western terminus of Clinton, Mo to Augusta, Mo. The rail trail has some hills at the west end continuing to mostly level through the rest. Daily mileage will average 33 miles. The shortest day is 26 miles the longest is 41 miles. There will be 6 nights of camping and one night in a hotel. Breakfast and supper will be provided for most of the riding days. Meals on travel days and lunch while riding are at your own expense. A total of eleven meals are at your expense. The club will provide support during the ride. Camping equipment, food and other necessities will be transported each day. The van will also be able to pick up riders that have mechanical or physical difficulties.
The Katy Trail is known for its hospitality, wildlife viewing, wineries and picturesque towns. Our pace through the week will allow time to see the sites, enjoy the scenery and relax.
All trip participants must fill out and submit a CIWC Medical Form and Long Waiver Form.
