Join us for a weekend at one of Indiana’s jewels --Turkey Run State Park. The park is located along Sugar Creek (well known for canoeing), in Parke County, Deep canyons nestled in the shadows of sandstone cliffs and peaceful hemlock groves harbor some of the most ruggedly beautiful hiking trails in the state. To get to many hiking trails you need to cross the famous suspension bridge over Sugar Creek. If weather/moon permits, we may do a night hike.
This will be a relaxing time spent doing a combination of hiking, canoeing/kayaking, enjoying friends, nature and perhaps a game or two of euchre. Trip fee will pay for campsites, Friday and Saturday evening dinners, along with Saturday and Sunday breakfasts. You will be responsible for any extra activities such canoe rental, and lunches.
