Trail Food Cooking Methods
An Instructional Webinar from Central Indiana Wilderness Club
Planning food for your backcountry trip can be a challenge. You want tasty, easy to prepare meals that are light weight. It’s possible to achieve all these objectives with some planning and preparation.
Through a visually engaging and interactive webinar you will learn about three cooking methods, recipes for each method, how to prepare the meals, and when they are best used on the trail. You come away with ideas, tips, and recipes to use on your next adventure.
This webinar is presented by Leslie Green, CIWC’s Backpacking Chair and avid backpacker. Leslie will share her passion for meal preparation as an exciting part of trip planning. Some of the meals she has shared over the years have become club favorites.
The webinar is open to all CIWC members as benefit of your membership. Prospective members may join for a $10 registration fee that can be applied to a club membership of $35 per individual or $50 per family.
